At Head to Toe Therapy we have made feeding and oral motor therapy a passion. We enjoy the small but important steps that lead to children eating effectively which in turn decreases the stress level of the family as a whole. Irene Winkler, OTR/L has taken extensive course work in oral motor and feeding. She understands that feeding is just not putting food in your mouth. It is a process of accepting food and having the ability to move food in your mouth when it gets there. It is also a social activity that can build connections with other people. Being positive and building trust not only with the child but also the family is a must in her sessions.
